At Word Nerdy Academy, we believe teaching the heart is just as important as teaching the mind. That’s why our focus is on creating social-emotional learning (SEL) tools that empower students to reflect, express, and grow — while still helping teachers meet academic goals.

From mini-lessons to creative worksheets, we design 30-minute, ready-to-use activities that bring SEL to life across all subjects — with engaging visuals, meaningful connections, and yes… a little nerdy flair.

"The Classroots Project"

“Teaching Tools with a Nerdy Twist.”

Welcome to The ClassRoots Project—a 36-week journey with K-12 adaptation toward nurturing emotional intelligence, connection, and confidence in every student we serve.

The Classroots Project is a yearlong, weekly SEL-based curriculum rooted in real-life experiences, classroom-tested activities, and a whole-child mindset. With themes like Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Skills, your students will gain tools that grow hearts, not just test scores.

Parents & Educators Partnership (PEP) Passport Program

A feel-good hour for kiddos and families where stories come alive and emotions are explored! Our SEL & Storytime Events engage kiddos through read-alouds, mindful movement, interactive discussions, and creative expression that teach empathy, emotional regulation, and self-expression—all while having FUN!
